AAFL cancelled

I never really thought it would work. Maybe fans of the University of Florida, or other colleges participating in this may have gone to the first game to see some of their favorite former players take the field again but it really didn't seem like something that would have any real staying power. I figured it would be like the XFL and get cancelled after one season but it didn't even make it that far.

Now, now! You can't tell me you wouldn't love to see the Also Ran League packed to the brim

with past-their-prime non-next-level athletes from across the SEC. This thing was supposed to

'fill the void left by NFL Europa's demise'...Hmmmm....I wasn't aware there was a 'void'.

Did any of y'all ever watch NFL Europa (was it televised here in Amerika?).

That was the problem, it seemed like they were shutting the other Florida college football fans out by making it a Gator thing even though there were players from other state schools. In all of their ads they were gearing it towards UF fans.

Also, NFL Europe is gone? I wasn't aware of that.

Maybe they had to cancel the league because all the players they drafted died of old age.
