Imagine if USF hadn't had all those summer practices wiped out by rain. Would they have beaten UCiF by 80 points? Would they have put 100 points on them? Considering they got out of the blocks 6-0, I don't think that hurt them very much.

Having an indoor practice facility is overrated.  How does practicing indoors prepare your team for the elements on game day.

You can simulate wind, cold and noise indoors with the equipment there.  I think that's good stuff to prepare for.

That's what outside is for.  You can't really practice in lightning though, which we all know is very common between Tampa and Daytona.

You can simulate cold

Yes, I'm sure it's very easy to crank that thing down to 35 or 40 degrees.  ::)

Indoor is not overrated, practices  with thunderstorms must be delayed or cancelled.

With the NCAA now severely limiting practice time you need all you can.

FSU is getting ready to fund one...Florida isn't far behind.

Both schools and the U seemed to do fine without them up to this point.  They are more neccessary for northern schools with sever winters and falls.
