I know this doesn't mean anything, but Rivals just put out a new Preseason Top 25 taking into account underclassmen who declared for the draft.

21. South Florida (9-4)

The Bulls didn't lose any underclassmen, but they will have to re-tool their defense without linebacker Ben Moffitt and cornerbacks Mike Jenkins and Trae Williams.

We have some talented players...

Bedford, Buie, Selvie on the line... (I'm thinking TFL and Sack records both next year)

McKenzie, Wilson, Mompremier in the LBs...

Murphy, Roberts, Allen, and Williams as the DBS...

Sure, Murphy and Roberts are not the NFL-caliber  (yet?) that Jenkins and Willaims were -- but they're not so bad.

Add in a more comfortable running game and an improve OL, we could be a very tough team next year.

Interesting....for once they're not trying to pretend they should squeeze FSU and/or Miami into the Pre-season rankings.

Many are gonna start making FSU & UM earn their rankings.

Kansas & WVU ranked high.

It'll be interestng to see what happens when the sportswriters and coaches polls come out before the season and if the Duck Debacle is as catastrophic to them as some think it was ....

With Out Clebert, I'm interested to see how well Selvie does getting most of the double teams.  I bet he has a good year, but I don't think it'll be close to last years numbers.

Harris had flashes last year... see the UCF game.  And Terrell McClain can be a STUD.  And Jim mentioned David Bedford.  This kid is a Selvie clone... maybe a Strahan-Umenyiora DUO?????  We'll see.

Teams are gonna throw a lot more next year against us.  But they cant throw it if we plow their QB into the turf first.

As for Kion... he should get some significant PT since he is already on campus and ready for Spring.  And I'm hearing Spires is gone.  If that's so, then Kion should get the green light.

And let's all not forget the hybrid... Chris Robinson
