You guys started out so well.  I know Florida in general as a state are loaded with fairweather fans, but with the opponents you draw, it should be huge.  I feel bad for the kids who bust their butts and don't get the support they should have.  We drew a good amount when UConn came to town.  If it wasn't the same day as the Liberty Bowl, it could have been a sell out. 

ftu/ou/oc will never get a consistent dose of quality opponents in any sport

Despite this lack of opponenets from who are referring to, our attendance is as good as yours according to the box scores on Yahoo sports.  If you guys aren't playing West Virginia, people don't like to show.  Hell, Rutgers brought in under 3700 fans.  Before playing a ranked Pittsburgh, the only games you even broke 4000 were against UCF and UAB, and those barely broke 4000.

Let's look at averages.  Despite having over 12k for your West Virginia game, you are still averaging around 4700, which includes 5 conference games.  By the way, with our "lack of quality opponents", we are averaging over 4900 and that was with our marquee game of the year being the same day as the Liberty Bowl.  Whoops.

It says that some fans don't want to see the current product no matter who they're playing........ but that still has nothing to do with what smazza was saying. He was just saying that UCF doesn't play quality opponents. He didn't bring up attendance. You changed the subject just like the ones who threw out the head-to-head jabs.
