What is their allotment?  Was it 15,000?  If so, I'm not sure we would have done better than 7,500.

If we were in the Fiesta Bowl this year I bet we would sell every single ticket.

The fans have lost hope...  I think I would too if we lost against Pitt (knowing that the next game would be the NC) and then losing your coach.

But they travel so well! Blah blah blah blah blah!

I bet there are going to be a lot of West Virginia fans sitting glumly in New Orleans because they couldn't get out of their flights and hotel rooms, watching the BCS title game between two teams that are not the Mountaineers.

USF wouldn't sell 15K tix to Fiesta bowl right now.  To the Orange yes, to the Sugar, possibly, but not Fiesta.

this is somewhat misleading - tickets are plentiful - the game wont be sold out.  why pay wvu $135 per ticket when you can get them on ebay or stubhub for half that amount?

i know dozens of friends who are going who got tickets cheap from other sources.

i bought 2 tickets and cant go - it's just too far and the timing isnt good.  a new years day bowl would alow me to travel home on the 2nd, thus i only need one day off from work, with the game on the 2nd, i would have needed the 2nd & 3rd off and because i work in finance/accounting, the first few days of the month i cant be out that long.  a lot of other people arent going for this reason too - the mid-week date of the game (of course combined with the disappointing events on which the season ended).
