One little difference.  Steel amplifies the sound and it bounces all over the place.

So while 67k might actually be louder, the 45k here will sound louder on a person to person basis.  I'm no trying to run smack, but a steel stadium definitely has its advantages.

likegetting blown away in a hurricane. That place will look like a mobile home park if a big hurricane goes through O-Town.

You mean like the one you live in up in PASCO COUNTY?

Are they going to fix the bouncing problem.  Steel constantly boucing up and down can't be good for stadium.  Seems like they would want to reinforce the steel.  I have never heard a stadium referred to as a trampoline before.

From what I've heard, they are starting at the student end and working their way down.  While bouncing isn't going to cause a problem today or in a few years, in 10 or 20 years, it could have negative effects if added support is not used.  UCF is smart to jump on it right after the season ended.

For 60 million it would have been smart to build it right the first time

No one expected people would be jumping all over the place.  I never saw it coming cause people didn't do it at the CB.

Uh people dont jump up and down at football games?   What planet are you from?  The effed up in the design just admit it, i promise it won't hurt to do so.

We have a winner!

Man, it is simply hilarious that they have a problem with the design of the stadium, the university both understands that it is a problem and has a plan to address it, but still we have ucIFers that will fight tooth and nail against admitting that it is an issue because they don't want to say anything bad about their stadium.  That's awesome.

A simple YouTube video with EVERYBODY in the stadium jumping at the same time will suffice ....... I'm not holding my breath.

It will be interesting to see how many season tickets UCF sells next year, but that is an entirely different smack thread.

At worst the same amount as this year.

At best, the entire amount of seats reserved for season tickets.

With 10 wins, a bowl game, the return of 24K, a good schedule, and a conference championship...don't worry too much about us.

What cracks me up is that we used the same design by the same company as your conference brothers - Louisville.  Why aren't you ragging on their stadium?
