No way this could support a BE bowl game... People want to come to Florida and if USF were in the bowl game, it would be at least 25k - 35k short of available seats... We sold out Ray Jay for some decent home games. Give away tickets to sponsors, media, etc, and then offer soem seats up to the opposing school and Ray Jay isn't big enough...I'd rather put a BE bowl after the first (or before) in RJS. This new stadium is only a fraction of the size of Tropicana. 35k is REALLY small for a bowl game. If we were playing in it we'd have 35k alone, not to mention the other team's fans and just locals that want to watch a college football game. Bowl games are more about people traveling to the City and Spending money than it is about ticket sales. USF fans would drive over tailgate, watch the game, and drive back. We would not spend a boat load of money in St Pete
