I see that Hawaii is not in the top 12.  They may not get a BCS bowl after all.

Top 12 is for the automatic bid... Top 14 to be invited as an large team.

And since no conference can get more than two bids... Hawaii may get it by default.

i sure hope that Hawaii doesnt get to a BCS game.  with the schedule they play its not even fair.  i could see if they won every game walking away but they have had OT games, games won on a last second FG, etc. 

I am all for a Non-BCS team having a shot at the big game but I think in order to qualify for that top 12 automatic or top 14 at-large...i think you should have to beat atleast 1 BCS conference team.

If they go undefeated, Hawaii will meet that criterion: they play Washington their last game of the year.

They play Boise this week, and that winner might be the big BCS crasher.  Had they not slipped up early in the year, Boise might be a top 5 team.

However, these standings are wacky.  I don't get some of these teams being as high as they are.

I find it very strange that USF is only 30 in the USA Today (Coaches) poll.  Wonder how many of those coaches would rather come here than to go play UConn, Hawaii, BYU, Boise State, Tenn, Boston, Wisconsin?  

Yeah, I didn't think so.  Maybe they should reword their poll?  How about "List the teams in order of who you don't want to play"

Great to have us back in the standings and I also hope with the win against Pitt that we move up.

What I also noticed was Hawaii 10-0 and still no respect #15. Maybe that's why they trashed out their own field against Fresno State. They shouldn't even be considered that high in the rankings.

With a win against Pitt and some others losing, I would guess to say we may get #21.

There is no BCS after the Bowl Game... the last BCS of the season comes out December 2nd.
