A torn ACL is an often very painful and timely recovery... my heart goes out to him and I hope he gets better soon and feels 100% once he completes recovery and rehabilitation.

Wow, that is awful. Walker has played his last game for the Bulls. I hate to see seniors getting injured like that, not a good situation, he is going to miss out on the rest of this season that he has been building up to for 4 years. I hope he can recover and get some looks in the NFL. Walt is a good player, we are going to miss him on the field.

It is up to his team mates now to get him a conference championship

From the time I saw his injury on the field last night, I had a feeling that it wasn't going to be good.  He was wincing in pain and the replay showed his knee buckling under him.

Sad news.  Healing vibes coming your way Walt.  ~U~

Yep.  Pretty heartbreaking stuff there.  Man, when he went out like that I felt pretty crushed.

No question that changed the entire game. Rutgers immediately started blitzing like crazy and the new alignment on the offensive line had a hard time dealing with it.

prayers out to Mr. Walker for as fast and painless recovery as possible.

from all that i've read, he seemed like a real intelligent, respectable young man.

terrible thing to have happen.  hopefully he can still be a presense in the locker room and the sidelines.

That makes the Cincy defense that much tougher.

Tough loss for Walker. I wish him a quick and healthy recovery. It's tough when you're out there sacrificing your body as an ameteur. Hopefully we can put together a solution that's more than just one starting with 'boot' and end with 'leg'.
