Terrible. What a waste! It's great that we'll be able to not worry about them as much, but it makes our conference look like **** now.

They made a bunch of dumb decisions in the last 4-5 minutes of the game. The ill-advised onside kick, throwing short passes with no chance of getting out of bounds, not taking the quick FG when they got within range, etc. They're going to lose 5 or 6 games and might get picked off by a non-BCS team in a bowl.

Just saw this thread.  I watched the game and here were my thoughts:

I hope not because Louisville looked like a JOKE.  I love the touchdown run by the Utah quarterback straight up the middle and no one even touched him.  They were getting 8-9 yards on every running play.  I loved the shot of the guy in the crowd fake shooting himself in the head.  I think one guy was flicking off the camera...

This looks really bad for the Big East.  Should it?  That I don't know.  I read that article saying that with WVU, L'VILLE, and Rutgers losing that the Big East has gone down a notch...  Unfortunately they don't mention how good USF and Cinci is doing.  I think it is up to these two teams to keep winning if the Big East is going to look good this year.

Seriously though, the Big East's stock has to go down after a game like that.  Horrible defense...

Louisville shouldn't get that bad, that fast.  And Kragthorpe is supposed to be a good coach.  I think Petrino knew the cupboard was bare, that's why he left.

I still can't believe it, but UConn looks much improved as wel.  The Big East may not be worse than last year, just different teams at the top.
