It certainly appears the best option would be a move to the very center of the South Endzone.

And like Shoop said, this would give new energy to an area of the stadium that needs a good bit of encouragement.

Can we start a "Move HOT South" campaign??

It's not going to happen. We were moved from an endzone section to where we are now because there is no field access from the endzone seats. Unless you're happy seeing the band leave at the start of the second, and not getting back until the end of the third.

Moving HOT to the south end zone would be very strange.  I don't think I have ever seen a college band not in or next to the student section.

I believe you are correct, RayJay is acoustically bad.  I have a feeling it is due to the open ends.  Alot the sound reflects around the bowl area and straight out the ends, if we had a closed off stadium, we'd be in a different situation.

Something to consider when designing our on-campus stadium.
