Schilling/Beckett/Wakefield goes 5-6 innings, leaves with a lead.

Okajima in the 7th.

Gagne in the 8th.

Papelbon in the 9th.

Good night, AL.  Red Sox fans, just reserve your tickets to the World Series now.

Is there really any difference between them and he Yankees?  Honestly.

Which one is the evil empire?  Both of them.

Reserving my tickets as we speak!!! HOOZAH!

Devil Rays are the real evil empire... maybe if they cared about their fans enough to field a good team instead of taking money from the Sox and the Yankees they would be competitive and have more than 10 fans show up to a game. It's a sad day when the professional baseball players show up to play in front of a pitiful crowd.

Steve, I think that's the closest you've ever come to giving the Red Sox credit for anything.  ;D

It IS a dang impressive bullpen...

It has been interesting; all the buzz here in Boston.

The Celtics and the Red Sox have cashed in...

Eric Gagne is working for the Yankees.

What a bum.

Man, certainly seems that way, doesn't it?

I guess thats what you get when you mess with something that was working well ::)

Francona better put Okajima back in the setup role until Gag-me figures out what is wrong.

How can you be an "economics nerd" if you think the rays don't care enough to field a good team like the yank mes and sock?  Um....DUH, maybe because they don't as freaking much money!   They can't go out and overpay for the best free agents on the market!!!!

That's why those teams are the evil empire, because they have an endless resource of cash to offer any player in baseball more money than anyone else.  That's why MLB is inferior to the NFL - parity.

Same teams win every year with a few exceptions here and there....BORING!
