No, I do not.  I believe we need "big time program" experience.  I'm not in favor of small-conference hires.  I just think the competition, recruiting, everything is apples and oranges.  Some succeed, some don't.   I think the safer play is the experienced major conference candidate.

I kind of agree.  We need to mediocre at first before we can be good.  Many won't like me saying that, but we need to get to the middle of the pack in the Big East before we can even think about going dancing.

Well, I'm not sure,  I was in favor of Grant, so its not a major factor for me where they coached at, especially if they have multiple NCAA apperances. But, his name will be well known since his team just won a game in the NCAA. I'm sure Ari will make fun of this like he's been doing, but I do trust Woolard.

JP Peterson said on tonight's 11 oclock news that the signing of Marshall was pretty much a done deal.  He said his friends at the Tampa Tribune were his source.

Wow. Not near the top of my list. But I will trust AD and support the program and see what happens. I give Woolard credit for not going with the safe choice. This guy's success/failure will be Woolard's measuring stick in my opinion.

Well, whether or not I think Marshall is a good hire doesn't really matter.  I too believe that we have the right guy making the decision and whichever way it goes I will not prejudge but will support the AD and his choice.

I am with you Brad. We need a tried and true name here at USF with Big time expirience. We have tried the "underclass" route too many times here!!! It does not work. Just because Winthrop was hot this year. Sorry my vote is no!    Reaper
