The 2nd level behind both baskets appeared to be full of students .... some actually got into the game and hopefully will be back.

Not sure what that was about since there were people in the upper deck too. My guess would have been around 7000. I was hoping for more, but it was pretty good. FYI, ex-DRays owner Vince Namoli was there. He was in the front row behind ND bench(he is a ND alum I believe.)

Then don't go to any more games... and we'll win out our last 3 home games. Not possible, but if we lose Syracuse, i'll consider it. Question for Trip: Do you think they counted you in the attendance count ? Or did you leave at halftime to beat the rush.

Doc Posted February 4, 2007 Group: Member Topic Count: 20 Content Count: 1,027 Reputation: 27 Days Won: 2 Joined: 03/13/2005 Share Posted February 4, 2007 Congratulations to the team on the victory! I'm not sure who else would agree here, but I was NOT surprised one bit by the win. I fully expect USF to win every one of these home games regardless of the opponent's rank and was stunned by the Marquette loss (not televised in St. Louis so I didn't even read about the devastating fashion by which it happened until later). Now we have to figure out how to win one on the road. I'll do what I can to help in Louisville, but the big ones are obviously in St. John's, Seton Hall, and DePaul. Even with six home conference wins, mathematically it might get tricky getting to the Garden with road losses in these games. I still believe we have to win at least one to make it.
