Gasparilla/USF

yea, there was no sign of usf anywhere, even in the crowd. All i heard were seminole chops and cator chomps. Even the pirates were throwing blue and orange beads and yelling go gators. Kind of dissapointed in this whole thing. No sign of USF anywhere involved. And i was aware of everything going around cause i was very sober.

What are your thoughts?

I actually saw quite a few USF hats and t-shirts Matt.  Not as many as UF and FSU, but still a good amount.  I was even walking down the alley and some guy some my t-shirt and start the S-O-U-T-H F-L-O-R-I-D-A chant.

There were Gators everywhere.  They were even selling UF Championship banners along Bayshore. Freaking annoying.

Gators and Seminoles fans kept doing the chomp and chop back and forth to each other....it was annoying to hear it every few minutes at the parade. One of the pirates did stop by me though and handed me a USF bead and said GO BULLS!

I think this will be my 12th Gasparilla parade.  Pretty impressive when you consider I've lived in Atlanta for half of those years.

JoeB way to keep up the tradition.  I haven't been to a Gasparilla parade in over 30 years but I did enjoy it.  I have been in Atlanta for over half of those years.  I always seem to make my plans down to Tampa at the wrong time.
