  1. Joe- Couldn't agree with you more about the USF Men's Golf Program. The only local kids on the roster are usually transfers coming back home for some reason. Why hasn't Fee recruited from the Greater Tampa Junior Golf Association? It's a joke with IMG and Saddlebrook within 60 miles of campus and our team is on level with Army or Rutgers golf? Perfect example of our athletic program accepting average teams. This will change very soon, ala Coach Cardieri.............................. NY BULL
  2. Wow, $5K for the football golf tournament at Avila. Eric-Does that guarantee to be in Leavitt's 4 some? Thanks and good luck with the golf tournaments. In future years I will be able to help you on a committee.
  3. I saw Girly & Jenn on the D-Rays Float, nice shorts..............................
  4. 1. Most Pleasant Suprise of the 2006 Regular Season? Matt G. 2. Biggest Disappointment of the 2006 Regular Season? Loss on National TV vs. Cinn, laid a big egg. 3. Best Memory of the 2006 Regular Season? Jim Leavitt running to the corner to the USF section at the Citrus Bowl. 4. Worst Memory of the 2006 Regular Season? Announcers during Cinn. game 5. Do you plan to upgrade your tix or donation within the next 5-10 years? Yes, already have 4 tickets, planning for 8 next year. NY BULL
  5. Good point DaBull, remember the stares Bobby would give a player like Derek Sharp after heaving another 3.
  6. Smazza, Which AD are you referring to? Current or Old? Ultimately, like a corporation the CEO or AD is responsible for the success of the company/program. DW is new school and had big time success at St. Louis. He told me face to face in Orlando before the USF/UCF game, "Hold me personally responsible for the success of the Men's Basketball program". My response was, "I hope I don't have to hold you responsible Doug, but I'll remember your comments". NY BULL
  7. I was at every home bball game from 1990-94. The Sun Dome was rocking and a great place to watch a game. Ask Denny Crum about Death Row. -How about beating FSU at home during Xmas break back in 91. -How about beating Iowa at home. -How about storming the court after upsetting Louisville at the Sun Dome. -How about Gary Alexander and his amazing dunks. -How about Bobby Paschal and his famous whistle blowing. A good recruiter can do it here, just need to have the right guy. Not sure if RM is the man, but I hope so. NY BULL
  8. I know there is a party Friday night with open bar, band, etc. The charter plane arrives around 11am local time. Any suggestions for an afternoon activity? NY BULL
  9. Here is the breakdown for 4 club season tickets. Price: Green Jacket Contribution $1000 Seats (4 @ $174 per) $696 Parking $85 Service Charge $5 Total $1786
  10. Paul Griffin deserves a ton of credit for providing the proper foundation for the USF Football program. He also deserves a ton of credit for putting the right people in place (Jim Leavitt, Leroy Selmon, etc.) However, my comment about Griffin was referring to all other USF Sports. Tennis, Golf and Baseball specifically. With the local talent in the area and the Tennis Academies within 45 miles of our campus we should be Top 40 every year in those sports. Mike G, I love your photos and your position but you must face facts. Ciao, NY BULL
  11. Anyone heard the rumor that our game at Rutger in 07 will be the ESPN Thursday night game? NY BULL
  12. It means going to the "We Want Football" pep rallies back in 1990 outside of the Marshall Center were worth it. Great to hear from friends around the country giving USF props. Only the beginning, we must continue to play solid out of conference teams ala FSU back in the late 80's and early 90's. USF Athletics should no longer accept medicrioty; ala Paul Griffin, Eddie Cardieri, etc. USF is on the right track and I'm proud. NY BULL- Green Jacket Member and USF Club Seats. Hoping to have 12 club seats by 08.
  13. My wife and I are flying up, hopefully via the USF Bulls Club charter package. Anyone do the charter last year? Thanks, NY BULL
  14. I don't blame the receivers, most NFL receivers couldn't catch the balls thrown by PJ.
  15. I've heard at least 10 times now that down at Miramar HS Pat ran the wishbone and threw like 60 passes his entire HS career. Why on earth is he our passing qback then??? He throws the worst balls in the world.
  16. Katie, I will be rooting for the Bull no matter what just like you. However, as diehard fans we analyze the games and are pretty blunt about what went right and what went wrong. Today's loss was very disappointing and a major blow to many long time fan's who were hoping (praying) for USF to finally get to the big time. I felt as if our players came out flat and did make a lot of mental mistakes. I also felt our guys never gave up and played hard to the end. I'm guessing you are a USF student or recent graduate. I've been following the Bulls for 16 years and have gotten used to us laying an egg in all big games. NY BULL
  17. We looked the same as we did in the 1st quarter of the UM & Penn State Games. I don't dislike PJ personally, but can't stand him as a passing quarterback. Can't JL see this?
  18. I've been following USF Athletics since 1989 and I was excited this week as any. Our defense played great for most of the game and especialy in the 2nd half. In fact our defense and UCONN basically handed us the game in the 2nd half. -You've got to point the finger at the coaching staff for us coming out totally flat in the 1st quarter. -I can take the UM and Penn State choke losses, but this game was ridiculous. -I can't stand Terry Bowden, but he was dead on about PJ and his quarterbacking skills. Jerry Rice couldn't catch half of the low rockets this guy throws. I feel bad for our receivers trying to catch PJ. -Why did we abandon the run in the 2nd half? -If the quick count 3rd and 1 on the goal line would have worked we all would be thrilled. What kills me is when we got the ball back with 2:48 and 2 timeouts on their 47 yard line and we just chuck it up. I am so disappointed with the way we lost and how pathetic and unorganized we looked as a program on national tv. I will be at the WVU game rooting for my Bulls. A fan supports their team whether they Win or Lose. NY BULL
