One of the most prominent USF alumns in the South Florida area would be the gentleman that owns one of the biggest marketing firms in the country. Both his and his firm's name have slipped from my memory, but I believe it's in the top-15 in marketing/advertising firms in the country.

Florida Panthers minority owner Jordan Zimmerman.

That would be Zimmerman Advertising and it is the largest in the Southeast and 17th in the nation.  Jordan Zimmerman owns the Panthers and the Bank Atlantic Center and holds the account for the Miami Dolphins. He is a huge USF supporter and just gave $1 million to our Communications Department to bring a new program to USF.  He is a marketing genius and also my future employer.  He is doing good things for our community.
