The fact of the matter is that most people in the rest of Florida do not consider Miami as a part of real Florida.

Has failed to meet internet credibility criteria and has been classified as BS

i grew up in ft myers....and i gotta say...below ft myers or naples there is NOTHING.  its all swamp.

Anything between Tampa and Miami is retiree "Lizard Farms" or uninhabitable swamp.  Miami is less South Florida and more of North Cuba.

also, in 1956 the population of areas like Miami Dade were about 1/5 the size they are now...probably kinda hot.  

Glad someone started a thread about this...seeing as it is the only way ECU fans seem to be able to make fun of USF.

Yep. Below Naples is the Everglades. Fort Myers and Naples are the end of the line on the west coast.
