Honestly, if it became UF vs. OSU in the national championship game, I think the Rose Bowl will be one of the best bowl games with Michigan vs. USF. But I can't see myself rooting for either OSF or UF. Can they both lose?

It's not fair to Ohio State to give Michigan another shot. Florida should get the chance to play Ohio State, especially seeing that they won their conference, while Michigan did not. Went 6-1 v. team going to bowl games. Margin of victory v. ND and Wisconsin was great. Looked good in most their wins, whereas Florida played close games.Florida: Went 9-1 against bowl teams, beat Ranked teams in Tennessee, LSU, Arkansas (Georgia may be ranked this week). Only loss to a top 10 team at their place (Arkansas' loss should propel Auburn into top 10). Michigan played close games against Northwestern and Ball State; Florida played close games against teams going to bowls.I don't know, I am sure as hell glad that I am not a voter today. If I did have to vote it would probably go to Florida, they played a harder schedule.
Guest
Here's a fun fact.Ohio State Coach Jim Tressel is a voter in the Coaches' Poll. Final Coaches' poll ballots (i.e. this week) will be made public.Jim was quoted last night as saying he might not cast a ballot this week because he doesn't want to vote for either team and upset the other team.Of course, Lloyd Carr (Michigan) has a vote... and so do former Florida coaches Ron Zook (Illinois) and Steve Spurrier (So Car).It will be interesting to read how the coaches vote. It has been a long time since UF lost while Michigan basically just lost to Ohio St. If you have MICH play in this thing then the system is a joke. I know if USF were in UF's position that we all would be pissed off if we didnt get a chance. UF fans will have every reason to be pissed if they dont get the call. TheGooch Posted December 3, 2006 Group: Member Topic Count: 15 Content Count: 46 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 11/15/2005 Share Posted December 3, 2006 All of these statements about Florida "deserving" a shot because Michigan "had their chance already" is ridiculous. Michigan is the second best team in the country, regardless of where they finished in the Big Ten. The two top teams in the country should play for the national championship. OSU will beat either team anyway, but the OSU/UM matchup would be a closer game than OSU/Florida.On ESPN last night, Chris Fowler stated that the word out of Vegas would be that UM would be favored by a touchdown over UF on a neutral field. One thing is for certain - GO BULLS! TheGooch Posted December 3, 2006 Group: Member Topic Count: 15 Content Count: 46 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 11/15/2005 Share Posted December 3, 2006 ... however, if UF got their chance to play OSU, who could argue with a USC/Michigan Rose Bowl. That would be an entertaining game.If OSU loses the national championship game, regardless of who they play, and Boise St. beats Oklahoma - give the title to Boise St, just to make a joke out of the whole **** system. They are from the rust belt home of the unemployed. That school and region has nothing to do with us. At least UF is in the same state. They represent FLorida football. The greatest football state in the country!Screw Michigan and Ohio State!
