unc is horrible and if usf cant have confidence going into this game i cant imagine another game usf would feel confident about

if usf cant handle unc why bother thinking about a bowl game

what happened  to everyone that thought usf would be 10-2?

It's a BCS team on the road. USF is comming off the "high" of beating the ever talented Uconn Huskies. UNC is at a season low. This reeks of a letdown game.

no game is a cupcake for us when we are as young as we are.  specially another BCS team.  i just hope for a win, i dont care by how much.  i hope to see a good effort from our running game and hope that ponton gets some action in his first game of the season and looks good

nothing out of the ordinary here-- same story any time we play any team for the first time. They don't know much about us, can't believe we can even be good because-- well-- who the hell are we (the JUCO comment was priceless), and we've only been around for ten years.

No problem-- I don't see our prediction thread as the end all of the USF fan base opinion but it is a fairly decent indicator. If we play up to our abilities, I think we can beat this team. They make mention of Ray Rice from Rutgers but do they have a Ray Rice on their team or an offensive line comparable to Rutgers? I suppose if we would have played well that game and beaten Rutgers we might get a little more respect but it sounds like they still feel losing to Rutgers was a fluke.

I may have picked a large spread for this game but I think we are really starting to pick things up. And apparently they have no idea about the guys we have available again for the first time this season-- Ponton and Josh Julmiste in particular -- that I see as giving us the shot in the arm we need depth-wise.

WHo knows-- maybe UConn just failed to play to their strengths and gave up on the run game far too early against us (one of the radio guys mentioned that). Maybe we just had a good game last Saturday. I hope we bring our best game up there and take care of business. I think our team has plenty of respect for UNC. I know I respect any BCS team protecting it's home field.
