I live in Gainesville and regularly drive down for 4 pm tailgating. I stay for the entire game, do a bit of post-game tailgating and then drive home. I generally get back around 1-1:30. However, even in our group, I don’t live the furthest away. Lisa and Wayne live in Ft. Myers and come up for every home game.

So as I was driving back home Saturday night/Sunday morning, I got to wondering how far other people drive to get to Bulls games. Does anyone drive further than the 2 ½ hours Lisa and Wayne drive, on a regular basis?

I have the same 2 1/2 hours from Fort Myers.  I make it to most home games, unless work prohibits it.

Wish I could say I made it to all of them.

That's great....what about the guy who drives down from Georgia...his name escapes me.  He even comes down for Fan Appreciation Day.....I only drive 45 minutes (Lakeland) but over time, you'll hear more and more about people driving healthy distances.  It's what happens for BCS programs with longer histories. We'll be there soon.

Gary is his name.  He used to post on here but between smazza and his work computer not letting him log in I think he is a regular on Rivals, but I could be wrong.  I just saw him at the Rutgers game.

Next year I'll be making the commute from Tallahassee. That's about 4.5 hours from the stadium.

MLK and the Hillsborough River... about .75 miles.

It's a trek, but I suck it up and do it for the team!
