It's funny that you bring this up.  Most of the people who are falling in love with Grothe are the same people who were screaming a few months ago, "C'mon guys, let's give Julmiste another chance!"

ET is right -- Grothe was going to get a rotation in for the second half.

Justin -- not all that are praising Grothe now were PJ fans.  It may look that way, but many wanted Grothe and kept the rhetoric down due to PJ being a great kid and all around nice guy.  When the coach consults this BB for who to put in, the fans will be more vocal about dumping a nice guy and replacing him.  ET and I were hot on Grothe from the get go because we both have ties to Lakeland and knew about him from there.  I don't think the people here are that fair weathered.  Well, most aren't...

Along with E.T. and Grateful Dad, I knew of Grothe from living in Lakeland and I personally know some of the local high school coaches who provided some insight on Grothe.  The kid has the "it", he just wins baby!

Guilty as charged.  Before the season I said give Julmiste another chance, because I thought he might finally click during his senior season.  Obviously I was wrong.

Matt is a freshmen with three more years after this ons. BS is a junior with only one more. Im glad we got Grothe over BS.

On a side note, Garrett Wolfe already has 1100 rushing yards for the season in only 5 games.  That's gangsta.

If he stays on pace, the only back that will have better college rushing stats is BARRY SANDERS!

Note: he had 171 rush yards and something like 60 rec even against ohio state.  Where does NIU get these guys?  First Michael Turner and now Wolfe!
