Football and drinking go hand and hand. I have never scene anyone have a problem in the south lot, the only thing I ran into was getting a warning for throwing a football around. Also if you have everything in a cup there is no reason to come over and check out what you are drinking. Drink and be merry, you are only in college and young once so enjoy getting roudey for your school.

Trip ari is not underage.  He is like that dirt bag in "dazed and Confused" at the football games, hitting on 18 year olds and saying "I keep getting older but they stay the same age." Complete lush pup.

So he's griping about something that has absolutely nothing to do with him ........... unless he's anticipating those 18 yr olds he'll try to hit on will be stone sober and laugh in his face .... I understand his angst in that case.

This is pretty simple:

Act like an ass and get treated like one.

Just don't act like underage kids drinking at a tailgate.  In other words act cool, like you've been doing it before and most likely they won't bother you.

drinking age should be eliminated and then alchol wouldn't carry such a stigma

cant think of a democratic country in the world that regulates alchol like we do, yet we have more alcoholics and abuse then all of them combine.

makes no sense.

very similar to our health care system -- everyone thinks its is so great-- yet we have one of the highest infant mortality rates in the developed world.

Alchohol carries such a stigma because of its effect on the individual and society in general.  Actually, using alchohol doesn't carry a stigma.  It's the overuse that does so much damage.  There is no other drug that kills 50000 people per year on the highway, or breaks up so many families.

People don't overuse alchohol for its taste -- it is for the buzz.  No different than any other drug.  Yet so much more devastating.

That being said, it is legal under conditions and people can use or overuse.  As long as they are honest and mature enough to suffer the consequences without whining -- including getting on with your life after you have killed someone else's child or spouse.
