If UCF wins this year, do USF fans feel more inclined to make this an annual series?

They should already, regardless.

Shouldnt UCF and USF strive for schedules that are appealing to their fans and alumni?

YES.

How cool is it to be able to actually TRAVEL to a road game without dealing with airplanes, hotels, and rental cars?

Notre Dame plays Navy every year, they can be our Navy  ;)

Seriously, I have no problem with this game until we can get our schedule completed. We NEED 3 games for 2007!

Our AD is doing a great job and am more calm than in years past.

Go BULLS !!!

I don't care!  It shouldn't change anything.  The arguments over this are getting ridiculous.  We'll play it if our AD wants to.  I personally think we should, because we'd get higher attendance that way.  When in doubt, an attendance boost is never a bad thing.

If the series ends at 1-1 I am ok with that.  Alot of what I will feel about this series will come from how the fans are in Orlando at the game.

I don't think any USF family should be exposed to last years events in the parking lots.  If the tailgate goes good, the game goes good, and there are no incidents, I will consider it.

Then it's not really a road game! A two hour drive vice a 30-minute drive doesn't really get the adrenaline pumping.

But that's not the point of the thread...

If UCF were to win, it doesn't really change anything. We're still obliged to play a CUSA team for the next several years and it may as well be UCF, unless, of course, CUSA decides they want to stick some other team in RayJ to satisfy the requirement.

I'd bet that - if UCF does win - there will be more impetus to play the game from USF (fans and board rats) simply for the chance to go 2-1 vice walking away 1-to-1.  Can't say that the USF powers that be would feel that way, however.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
