Well, USF has to satisfy their CUSA exit requirements regardless of the outcome.

What if other CUSA teams say no to USF or try to power play them?  In this case, the other team has the upper hand if USF turns down playing UCF again.

Hmmmm...I'm not too sure about that. The CUSA obligation is a conference requirement, therefore CUSA would have the oversight to put the game together. I doubt USF is going to try to play any other CUSA team other than UCF. There's no real incentive there, even if UCF should win this season. It's not like a loss to UCF this year means we want to schedule Tulsa next to satisfy the requirement.

A loss to UCF this year doesn't really impact this one way or the other.

It will just mean the series is tied 1-1.

Heck...UF started out 16-2-1 in their first 19 games against Florida State...but look at what it became today...all the fans love it. (FYI..since the first 19 games...UF's record vs FSU is 13-17-1).

although I would like to see the series continue at least until we are playing UMiami every year. I like the game and the close proximity of our two schools.

If UCF wins this year, do USF fans feel more inclined to make this an annual series?

Shouldnt UCF and USF strive for schedules that are appealing to their fans and alumni?
