"Well could you Play us in Birmingham

up the score just the way we planned

A crappy field on the edge of town

crap blowin’ all the way around

Put her there in the one yard line

six points suits us all just fine

For awhile we’re in a bowl again

If you can Play us in Birmingham."

Hey, Toronto is a great city and there are usually cheap flights into Buffalo (where you would have to rent a car).  It wouldn't be so bad.

I think it'd be great. Florida's winters suck from the "winter" aspect and it would be great to hit some snow and watch Bulls football .......... hopefully, AFTER Christmas, though.

All I can say is, "Get your passports updated now hosers."  No gettin' through the Border Patrol without one.  Toronto ain't too far for me.  We're soundin' like the whiners from another part of FLA. who were complainin' about a bowl game in Hawai'i.  I'll take any bowl game thank you.  Better to be in the 42% that are playing in a bowl game than the 58% that aren't.

;D

Toronto? I'm there if we go! Just be grateful and don't complain (UCF) of how far it is.

Toronto is a great city and despite being a little cold, it is a great place to visit in the winter.   Game would be in the Skydome, so cold wouldnt be a factor for the game.  I lived in toronto for 6 years, and if you have never been, its worth a trip.  Great restaurants, great downtown hotels, great sites to see, known for its interesting ethnic neighborhoods, has a great public transit system (street cars/subways/commuter trains/busses)

Toronto is a 20-22 hr drive from tampa.

I would be there in a heartbeat, but then again I would go to any usf bowl with the exception of hawaii.  Too expensive on short notice.

Isnt there a hotel inside of Rogers Centre (new Skydome name)?

Like someone else suggested:  You fly into Buffalo and rent a car and drive the two hours to Toronto.  Take a side trip to Niagara Falls and the Casino.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
