Yes there is a hotel inside Skydome, sorry it will always be skydome to me, just like the Ice Palace will be.  Anyway the hotel has rooms that overlook the field.  In fact a couple got in trouble 10-12 years ago for putting on a show during a game.  Skydome is one of my favorite venues.   Hard Rock Cafe in center field that overlooks the field as well.  CN Tower is adjacent Maple Leafs play a 1/2 mile down the road and lots of other things to do in the immediate area.

3 bowls for big east would be bad

birmingham is a dump but a bowl there is better than no bowl

all this would be academic if usf could realistically compete for BE championship  which they wont be able to do in near future with current coaching staff

FYI...over the next  3 years or so...look for a new lower level Bowl Game to be held at UCF's new football stadium.

CUSA (especially a team from CUSA East) will be looking at a lower level ACC Team (ACC want to drop their Bowl Agreements in San Fran and in IDAHO!) and/or a team from the Big East.

This game will not be run by Florida Citrus Sports, which hosts 2 Bowl Games in the Citrus Bowl.

A crowd of 30,000-40,000 would be fine in UCF's new stadium...and the Bowl can offer discount tix to UCF Fans...and I'm sure many will probably purchase season tix to this bowl game.

Since the Big East lost their spot in the former Tangerine Bowl game....look for Big East or ACC to split time with CUSA in about 3 years or so.
