all in all, this is good news. the more students on campus, the more connected they start feeling to their school, the less UF, FSU, UM fans on campus.

actually most schools require freshman to leave on campus, it helps them get used to college life alittle better, plus this dorm would add another 1,000 beds to campus, and new garage right in the same area as this dorm and it holds a good amount of cars

The prepaid college plans are starting to catch up with them, in the beggining they were almost giving away dorm space. Both of my future Bulls have 2 years of dorm paid for already I think the cost was close to $1,500 each.

No Florida public schools do and pretty much all large schools around the country do not. While it might help with campus life most schools have felt its cheaper to allow outside companies to build living facilities for students.

Nuke, I don't mean to be a jerk, but what if your kids don't want to go to USF. If I would have gone where my parents wanted me, I woulda been a Gator.

I would love to know the number of students that live in the apartments that are close to the USF campus. I know there are a lot of apartments around that campus. The whole commuter school thing is a classic misconception because there are plenty of students that are living within walking distance to the campus.

No jerkness taken, they can go to any school in Florida under the program, or outside the state with additional charges. They are growing up going to USF games and at this point both want to be Bulls.

Brahman there was an article in teh Oracle about that a few years ago (I think), check with that.
