Wow great day for the Bulls. 2 3-star recruits.

I see Rivals already has Sabbath down to 2 stars.  I'll bet if he commited to fsu he'd be 4 stars.

FOOTBALL

USF Gets 4 More Recruits

By BRETT McMURPHY bmcmurphy@tampatrib.com

Published: Jan 27, 2006

TAMPA - Chamberlain wide receiver Edner Alcin, one of the state's fastest recruits, and Freedom running back Eddie Davis were among four commitments to the University of South Florida on Thursday.

The Bulls also received commitments from Panama City Bay offensive lineman Jeremiah Warren and Miami Central linebacker Sabbath Joseph.

Alcin (6-1, 177) had the second-fastest 40-yard dash (4.44) among the wide receivers at the Tallahassee Nike training camp in May.

"He's going to be great," Chamberlain coach Billy Turner said. "He's one of the fastest kids in the state. He can really run and catch a football."

Davis (6-0, 176) rushed for a school-record 270 yards against Tampa Bay Tech. He also considered Rutgers and Bowling Green.

"I'm very excited and I feel relieved," Davis told USFBullseye.com. "It's in my hometown. I like the facilities and the people."

A Class 3A all-state honorable mention defensive lineman, Warren (6-3, 320) will be moved to guard or center at USF.

Joseph (5-11, 212) is the third linebacker to commit to USF, which now has 27 verbal commitments.

It takes a little bit of time to recruit the same as USC, Miami etc. Every year we get more and more recruits that would have never ever ever thought about coming here a couple of years ago. You can't expect after 4 or 5 years in D1 to be able to get any and every 4 and 5 star recruit that those schools get.

Leavitt and crew are doing an outstanding job!!!!!!!!

Wake up and have some realistic expectations!

Tell me what your expectations for this year were to determine that it was a failure!

Your only way to SUCCEED is firing the coach?

I believe you are a lawyer? Did you walk out of the day you graduated high school and start practicing law? No you went to undergrad, law school, etc.

Same thing this Bulls program is doing!!!!!

Guest Ari Hinkelberger

Ari Hinkelberger is a BIG fan of CJL.

He is all this university has.

My prediction is that we will contend for a national title within 10 years.

We will make a BCS bowl in about 3

We will finish second or third in the conference next year

We will play in the Gator Bowl Next year

Mac will be fired in late march and replaced by a young assintant from Duke name Chris Collins.

Ari Hinkelberger -- who is always right...and wondering why Hamas has a majority in the palistanian parliament.
