Everyone keeps referring to UCONN and PITT to emphasize how little we have progressed since 2002.  YO WE FINISHED AHEAD OF ALL OF THEM IN THE CONFERENC THIS YEAR...  WE WENT TO A BOWL GAME!! they did not.  We beat Louisville -- neither of them did.  They beat us becuase we aren't a very good road team yet.  That is a combination of a bad QB and a young program.  

We went to the 3rd best bowl in the conference and qualified for the Gator Bowl but they took UL instead becuase of contract clauses.  The football team is in GREAT shape right now.  Stop talking smack.  We would have been 9-2 if we had a average QB.  

We are a much better program than UCONN and PITT right now.  Pitt went 6-6 and didn't have a single decent win this year. They lost to Ohio -- got blown out by Notre Dame and WVU -- and only beat us because our QB sucks.

Lay off my boy CJL.  He knows our offense sucks -- he is very very very very aware that we need a decent QB.  That is why he sent the signal early the PJ to find another position.

If WVU wasn't in our conference I would say we had a 60% chance of winning the con title next year.  WE have almost the whole defese coming back -- along with one of the top Linebackers in the country in Royal.  We add verpale to the secondary -- we have a great WR core -- a dynamite RB in ponton.  Our football team hasn't looked any better then the one they will field next year.  Now if we can just get a QB to keep the defenses honest -- we will probably be in the Gator bowl next year -- finishing second in the conference -- worst case scenario =-- we are back in charlotte at the 3 spot in the conference.

I would love to see us in the gator bowl.  No way we beat WVU next year -- they might contend for the national title.  NASTY.
