We don’t have a No. 1 starter - a Friday shutdown guy. Mink and Cebert would be OK Saturday and Sunday guys, but you need that Friday guy who’s going to consistently give you 6-7 innings and only allow 2-3 runs. If we had that like we’ve had in past years (Jasiak, Herget, Strezlecki, Fontanez, Gorham, Roberts, etc), we’d at least have a chance.

Sounds like a coaching and recruiting issue . Hope we come back, but don't see it happening.  I am going to watch some hockey and keep the game on in the background waiting for a miracle to happen.

It may seem that way, but not too long ago, I was commenting the entire way through a win.  Maybe, if we get tired of winning, they’ll be a lot more people going “dammit” this is great!!!!

Basketball and football have both proven that winning is good and it does a lot for positive conversation, enjoyment and interaction.

Billy stepping in as pitching coach doesn't seem to have helped a ton

Too many meltdown innings

Not thrilled. Hope we find a way to avoid the cellar this year, not looking great unless we play Marist every game
