Let’s hope so. Our defense really struggled vs average + QBs. Charlotte and Syracuse were really QB less in last two games

If the defense can take a few steps forward the bulls will have a great season. I hope to see better play from the running backs to take some carries away from brown .

How many returners on offense?

Also, D last year sometimes played up and sometimes played down. If they can get to a level of consistency we will be fine.

In fairness we also had 2 sacks, 10 TFLs, and the team forced 3 fumbles (recovering 2). Those can't be attributed necessarily to bad QB play, we just dominated Syracuse.

We lost most of our defensive players from the secondary. Which probably benefitted us the most. We also have enough depth to gradually give our freshman players some snaps.
