Hanging banners when you didn't win  the tournment  is absurd. Do we want to hang a banner to honor Jeff Scott's legacy? Banners should be put up for conference championships, tournament championships, and national championships.

They have 12 of those. Suggest a little research beforehand  ....

Correct but a nit round 2 banner is the equivalent of a trophy for showing up to work. You didn't make the big tournament and you didn't win the 2nd tier tournament. So you are hanging a banner for accomplishing nothing of importance.
