I think the Miami game will be huge on where the season goes. A win and we are in playoff conversation. A loss and that becomes less likely even if we win AAC.

1. It will be at home and it could be close to a sell out

2. Very likely that it is televised as part of AAC TV contract

3. ACC will be watching

In recent past years, these 3 ingredients would be a guarantee for us to come out and lay a very ugly egg.  But I feel much better about this team and this coaching staff.

It isn't what we expected with the hype, but it will be our stadiun on campus. Judy should have put her time and effort into building an OCS instead of railroading the magic Leavitt created. Judy decisions only put USF football back about 20 years in a the CUSA 2.0 known as the AAC. The good news is we finally have leadership on campus that prioritizes athletics and a coach that is aggressive that can coach players up. Bad news we won't have a stadium until 2027 and are stuck in the AAC for the unforseeable future. All we can do is beat the teams on the schedule and make sure we bring our A games to whoop dat ass when we play power  conference teams. I would love to see one or two upsets this year against Bama and the U.

Judy put her time and effort into what she was paid a goodly amount of money to do. The past is the past ...

We can't change back time, but her leadership is why we neglected  athletics and were sent back down to the kids table in the aac. She fired the godfather of usf football,  neglected investing in athletics, and didn't hire any coach that would win at a rate near and punch up at power programs like Leavitt.

Don’t forget to get your ticket for the OCS project. I believe today is the final day for this deal.

A long-held dream of USF leadership, plans for the on-campus stadium have seen plenty of movement since the project was officially announced two years ago. It now...

In 2003, under Judy Genshafts leadership USF ADMITTED TO BIG EAST CONFERENCE

From 2005...

Just six months after USF moved into its $18-million athletic facility, athletic director Doug Woolard outlined a vision for the Bulls' future Tuesday, one that includes new and upgraded stadiums and fields for nearly every sport.

Just how much it will cost and how soon it could become reality remain to be seen.

Did she build an ocs or hire a coach as good or better than Leavitt?  Her decisions lead.usf to be stuck in the aac while ucf got out.

Nope. And no one ahead of her did. Just like no one ahead of her accomplished these athletic endeavors:

Corbett Stadium opened in 2011

The shared baseball and softball complex opened in 2011

The track was remodeled in 2008 to include a new state-of-the-art Mondo surface. It is the same surface used at the Olympic Games and is considered the fastest, safest and most durable track surface in the world.

The 55,000 square foot Yuengling Center facility, which includes a 10,500-seat basketball arena and the adjacent volleyball arena (the Corral), has seen over $43 million in renovations since 2000, including replacement of the original Teflon inflatable roof with a permanent structure, and numerous interior upgrades and improvements.

The $4 million Frank Morsani Football Practice Complex opened in 2011 and features three full size fields, two made of natural grass and one made of artificial FieldTurf, plus an additional 40-yard turf area for drills.

Opened in 2004, the Lee Roy Selmon Athletic Center is the main hub for USF Athletics.

The basketball practice center opened in 2011 as a two-story, 51,000 square foot facility that provides both the USF men's and women's basketball teams with their own practice courts overlooked by the coaches' office, locker rooms, offices, film rooms, and player lounges, plus offering a shared training room and strength and conditioning facilities. The facility also has: conference rooms, a 4,100 square foot multi purpose area, and an underground tunnel with direct access to the Yuengling Center.
