You are only as strong as your weakest link and that was our secondary and passing defense. We have brought in several experienced players from p5 schools, a few fcs/g5 transfers with experience, and a nice recruiting class of defensive backs. This unit should only improve.

Absolutely. CAG mentioned in the presser they had been working on him for a while and with DVD joining the staff, he helped close the deal. He is a great piece and the staff is excited he came on board.

I don't know how our secondary will be next season, but with a full year of development for this young class, two years from now we should have some playmakers. Hope this year they are improved considerably, but really looking forward to year 3.
