I don't think it's lazy as much as the best they can do right now.  Tonight can change that

That, unfortunately, is likely our reality, or at least winning the tournament. Most of the talking heads of basketball I have listened to seem to be favoring Charlotte to take the conference.

True ..... guess my problem is, right now, it really doesn't mean much, if anything ..... no matter what happens tonight. Just one of my "get off my lawn moments" with the ever present over anal-ysis of everything sports ....

I really don't understand his comments when there is about half of the conference schedule to play and we play Charlotte again.

He just makes projections. He’s paid by a company to just make stuff up based on his intuition and a few facts. Just like everyone else in the world, he’s never predicted a perfect bracket. In all honesty, I believe the AAC is going to have one team in the NCAA tournament and that team will be the AAC champion and also highest NET ranked, FAU. The only likely way the AAC has more than 1 team in the tourney is if FAU is not the conference champion. I think they win it all.
