He had a lot of offers and played 12 games as a true freshman. It's going to be very interesting this year. Buckle up! He is calling that if he is not a starter, then the other CBs are good enough to keep us from having the worst secondary in all of college football again. He has 3 older players in front of him. I'm sure he wants to move to 2nd or 3rd string at minimum. We run a defense that runs 5 dbs every play. I know in hs he was more of a safety then cb. So I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the 3rd safety/hybrid nickelback spot starting since Evans left. I think ward played a lot last year and more than Lee. It is a good thing to have two solid sophmore dbs returning. It is going to be a fight for playing with the two sec transfers, JMU transfer, and Amaris Brown coming back. Plot twist he already signed with usf and played last year. I am not sure who has the best grill, but I have nothing against showing out on the field and off of it . The more swagger we develop the more high profile talent, Golesh can bring to Tampa. Maybe we beat FAU so bad next year for revenge that Tom Herman will get another grill again to recruit talent to Boca.
