I think they would go after Lane  before Golesh. He can beat sec teams already with Ole miss talent and money. Can you imagine his offense with  virtually unlimited nil deals and Bama recruiting classes? If they hire Golesh that would be crazy. They probably will hire someone with sec and experience at Bama.

Jim Leavitt kept an offer letter from the University of Alabama to coach their football team (circa 2005-2006?) in his desk while the HC at USF. They pried Saban away from the Miami Dolphins after he (and others?) turned them down.
