Another highlight of today’s game was not having to continuously listen to Caylee Cotrell’s public safety message for 15+ minutes prior to Gate C opening…🙂

I think they do it for the shock factor ... shocks the **** out of me ... the opposing team seems too stunned to go at him.

Someone told me that he had been a point guard at one point until he had a 6" growth spurt at some point so he's supposed to be an ok ball handler.

This is very cool and believable based on his play style. I remember since first game he's always asking for the ball even outside the arc. In other words for a big guy he does not fear the ball and handling.

I'm going to go down the rabbit hole of the internet and see if there's more detail about his early play....

There's so much room between the floor and his hand when he's dribbling now, he should be ripe for a turnover ....

No doubt. But he can at least help break a press.

He does. Nobody comes at him ...... I think they're mesmerized.

Yet we have Selton Miguel put his head down and drive forward.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
