All that matters for realignment is TV viewers. Smaller stadium means more people have to watch from home. It’s genius.

Being considered large at 35K won't cut it in the realignment battle if we're small compared to other conference mates.  If expansion can occur up to 45K, do it now is all I'm saying.

If we could afford 45K, doing it our way, we'd be doing it. We're building what we can afford at where we are now .... and I still don't believe that stadium capacity has been, or will be, that high of a priority for potential future conf homes ..... SMU (32K), UH (40k), UC (40K)

Hey I have a question for those in know.  Maybe dumb but I've been sitting on this one.

Since the better looking side of the stadium is right next to the practice fields, are we supposed to be grottoing out there?  Is that going to be a big hangout before games?

Otherwise the nice looking side of the stadium is not seen while walking up?

They went to the ACC, and the B12 in desperate times.   We can aspire for the P2.  B1G will want to get in FL.  However, if we can't afford it then that's how it goes.

Agreed, but buts in the seats is also revenue for the athletic department, and a big revenue source at that. The main reason why the SEC schools make more than B1G per school on average is because the SEC has larger attendance, even with the B1G having the 3 largest stadiums (SEC next 4 largest). For USF to continue to succeed, we should prioritize going to games, then watching them on TV.

We don’t sell out so if the game is at home do people (in the area) really just watch at home? If so, why?

grottoing

🤔

A grotto is a natural or artificial cave used by humans in both modern times and antiquity, and historically or prehistorically.

Had to google this one. Thought you were throwing some AAU level words out. Realized you were probably going with gathering.
