Before this season started, I never would have believed that the above sentence would be posted in sincerity.  The team is ahead of where I would have put them for a first season coach/system/team.

Per the ORACLE article:  The Bulls gave up 580 yards of offense and allowed the most points in a game program history. They’ve given up at least 50 points in three of their last four games.

The team’s run defense was solid, only giving up 139 rushing yards. But, like many times this season, most of the damage was done through the air. 

Like I said on the other thread:  Our offense needs to be concentrating on maintaining possession, getting points with every opportunity and (God help us) going for it more on fourth down.  Find ways to keep the defense sitting by sustaining and scoring on drives.  Trick plays should be used if we get a chance.  Stop trying to just keep up.

True, but if they drop it sometimes or the wardaddies come out of the Peace Mission that can also help.

There is no doubt that we have seen some progress this season, but its hard to assess the amount of progress due to the much weaker schedule we are playing.  Beating Temple and Charlotte will go a long way towards where we go from "some" progress to "meaningful" progress in my opinion, especially  in sports with an outlook to next year its always more important as to how you finish versus to how you start.
