So, let me get this straight -- a hurricane knocks down a tree in your yard, and your first thought is: surely this is a harbinger of good luck. I'll dedicate it to USF football. Then, you start bringing this thing to football games, and:

• The year you start bringing it, we are relegated to the American Athletic Conference
• We lose to UCF for the first time ever that year, proceed to go 2-8 against them in the ensuing years, and are left behind as they are promoted to the Big 12
• We go 53-74 (0.417) from 2013-Present when we had gone 105-78 (0.573) in the years prior
• We are left behind time and time again in conference realignment by teams that were previously below us.

And then you're going to say "It's not cursed, it's tradition." This thing is Brady Bunch Tiki Idol levels of cursed.

I applaud Randy for continuing this tradition through the rough years.  Lay off as every time ND touches the play like a champion sign they don't play like a champion, but that's no reason to do away with tradition.  Is Randy on TBP?

I guess it depends on how you look at it. I would say it is lucky that the tree didn’t fall on a house or kill someone. All about perspective..

I’m here to embrace it. As a former Cubs fan growing up we had to hear about the Billy Goat Curse. All that did was help the Cubs gain in popularity and many people wanted to see if the Cubs could overcome the curse. So with that said, I’m going to embrace the so called Woody Bull Curse and help USF bring in more fans. Go Bulls!

And all those thinking it is cursed and want to burn it really don’t understand those consequences. Curses become stronger from beliefs. The last thing you want to do is burn it and make that curse immortal. Hell no! Just embrace it and respect it. That is the only way to reverse the curse. Hell! I may even give Woody some Whiskey the next time i tailgate. Go Bulls!!
