That being said Rutgers has pulled in 5 of their 15 recruits from Florida.

they are going to get recruits no matter what.  their head coach is from U of Miami.  he has a lot of relationships built up with high school coaches in the state.

We should put a billboard up on the NJ turnpike with "Warm Holiday Greetings from USF Football", with palm trees, college students playing volleyball on the beach in the bright sun and "45-31" written on a football in the foreground.

True...but Rutgers Coach Schiano has used his South Florida contacts (Coached at Miami) and has 25 players on his roster FROM Florida! (Including 6 players from their last recruiting class from FLA.)

It's worked very well for him and Rutgers.

Many very good football players from Florida have decided to leave the State to play in "cold ass" New Jersey.

I wonder how many of them have parents/grandparents/cousins/friends up in NJ. My guess would be almost all of them.
