Found something to kill some time .....

The Knights (3-1, 0-1) try to track down their first Big 12 win as they host the Bears (1-3, 0-1).

What’s wrong with Jim Louk?

Jim and the USF broadcast is the only way to go. Mute the TV clowns and sync it up!

Y'all will learn a lot more about the USF Bulls than the TV announcers will ever be able to provide.

I'm forced into listening to Jim Louk during the ESPN3 men's and women's home basketball games. His voice is too monotone and sleepy for my liking. I'd prefer listening to in-stadium sounds if it was possible (i.e. floor squeaks, whistles, players/ coaches/ fans yelling). I am not a fan of his.

I get the criticism on a technical level but Louk's a freaking institution, like the always drunk sounding Harry Carey .....

LOL I never had to listen to USF football on the radio like many of you probably had to do..I came in watching games on television or attending. Never developed any attachment to the guy.

Funny. My dad says the same thing and gives me crap about it when he comes over to hang out and watch a game. He's a Gator fan though so i don't pay much attention to his grumbling.

I get it though. You described him perfectly. However, he is the voice of USF sports. It gives me goosebumps sometimes when i hear him calling games when we are doing well. I don't know. I don't feel old but maybe I'm old at 38.
