They suck and so do the new clock rules. Seems to be excessive stops.  Watching the game on replay now after being there last night and wow there are alot of commercial breaks.

Maybe not the greatest refs, but we deserved most of those penalties and maybe a few more.  It is the biggest thing we need to fix.

They've been doing this more and more over the years.  The clock rules having actually nothing to do with it... and I don't know there was ever a break between the TD and PAT without another reason (like a timeout or injury).

TV networks need to pay for their big contracts.

Yep espn is broke and needs to find a way to make more money. I watched most of the Colorado Nebraska game the broadcast was better obviously and commercials seemed to be slightly less than espn ➕️.

... it's not only ESPN ... every game covered by TV (linear, over-the-air, or streaming) has the same thing.  TV breaks used to be 2 minutes, now they are often 3 minutes.  TV didn't used to go to commercial for every injury or instant replay, now more of those go to commercial.

The Colorado/Nebraska game was just as bad... it just had fewer injuries and fewer replays.

Commercials are getting more attention because of the clock changes, but they were well underway over the past several seasons.

Well they have finally gotten realistic in the TV listings with all games listed at 3 1/2 hours instead of 3 hours and having to put the following game on steaming or some unknown channel.

At the game yesterday, the person holding the commercial break clock was showing it to be around 3 minutes now. It almost seems like every minute during the game theres a commercial. Fans do not want to sit there for 4 hours, tons of fans left after the half, tv needs to do something to balance commercial breaks and game length but we know that won't happen, money-hungry companies.

"money-hungry conferences."

USF will suffer from frequent breaks with it's fast tempo.

In the 2nd half there was a 3-and-out that took 45 seconds of game time.  So that's 3 minutes of a TV timeout after FAMU punted.  Then about 90 seconds of game when USF goes 3-and-out.  Then another 3-minute TV timeout.
