Regarding Rice - they seem tough to figure out. Are they really better than we think (maybe they are?), or is Houston just not as good as we thought? Houston's game against UTSA was closer than I expected. Can't really say because I didn't catch either game.

Anyways, because I don't really have high expectations, for me every FBS win this year is gravy. If we go bowling in CAG's year one I'd be over the moon!

When I was at USF, I just remember thinking to myself how bad you would have to be to not go bowling and thought a bowless season for usf was unthinkable. Lol.

They didn't get embarrassed by Texas? That game was much more of a but whoopin' than it seemed. Their running game is suspect.

While we are at it, let's take a further look into another game everybody is saying is a guaranteed loss. 

UTSA has no defense. If an FCS school can put off 464 yards of offense on them, we should be able to as well.

That says 2022 though... new year new team, we'll see how they are later in the year

That was my bad, I thought that was a 2023 game. But they are currently ranked 118th in total defense. We just gotta work on our pass defense.

It "feels" better than that to me, but it could be Bulls colored lenses.

Time to throw a lot of the stats out the door and play some football!! Bama has yet to look all that impressive after two games. Was it due to Texas & MTSU or is Bama taking some steps back. We will get to see firsthand come this weekend. Game can go either way…

I think by either way he means a Bama blowout or a game in which the score at least appears to be respectable.
