It's an annual tradition to work my expectations up super high only in July/August to be let down during the season.

Let's keep that tradition going. Looking ahead at the AAC bowl tie ins.

Which one are you buying tickets for? I like a NY6 bowl (all at large, highest G5 gets an auto-bid) most but an ACC or MWC matchup would do just fine.

Dec. 16 - Cure Bowl: Group of Five vs. Group of Five, Orlando, Fla., ABC, 3:30 p.m.

Dec. 19 - Frisco Bowl: Group of Five vs. Group of Five, Frisco, Texas, ESPN, 9 p.m.

Dec. 21 - Boca Raton Bowl: Group of Five vs. Group of Five, Boca Raton, Fla., ESPN, 8 p.m.

Dec. 22 - Gasparilla Bowl: ACC/American/SEC, Tampa, Fla., ESPN, 6:30 p.m.

Dec. 23 - Birmingham Bowl: ACC/American/SEC, Birmingham, Ala., ABC, noon

Dec. 23 - Armed Forces Bowl: American vs. Conference USA, Fort Worth, Texas, ABC, 3:30 p.m.

Dec. 23 - Hawaii Bowl: Americanvs. Mountain West, Honolulu, ESPN, 10:30 p.m.

Dec. 27 - Military Bowl: ACC vs. American, Annapolis, Md., ESPN, 2 p.m.

Dec. 28 - Fenway Bowl: ACC vs. American, Boston, ESPN, 11 a.m.

I predict we will go bowling at Splitsville. If we get to 6 wins , I would be shocked. We have a lot of roster turnover losing almost all of our best players on offense, the defense is returning alot of starters and added transfers, lots of question marks at receiver, oline,  and the defensive backfield. This team will only improve as much as the defense takes then. I hope Goach and the staff become the best usf coaching staff ever but there is no way to predict  what is inside of this mystery box of a roster with first team head coach bringing a new coaching staff him ranging from veteran coaches to first timers.

The only thing that makes sense when we make it back to bowl eligibility this year is to go back to Birmingham again. It's the unofficial official bowl destination of USF teams everywhere

I've only missed the one in Toronto.  If we pull the miracle and go to a bowl I would likely attend anywhere but Hawaii (unless my old buddy Craig Angelos can let me crash on his couch) or if it requires interplanetary travel, like for the Cure Bowl.

It's not a big bowl but Boca would be cool and if we're going to be Kings of the G5 for the time being might as well beat up a G5.

I also wouldn't mind Boston! Bulls In Boston! Kick some ACC butt in ACC country.

No Big 12 tie ins so no chances of meeting C. any time soon even in a bowl game, unless it's a NY6.

Always like the chance to beat a mid tier SEC school like we did with South Carolina that one bowl game...

LFG!

If we actually do go bowling this year or anytime soon , Ipersonally would love to play ucf and beat them in a bowl game. It would interesting to see if they pull our best players didn't play in a meaningless game card.
