i never understood why people would want to go to time square.  it seems the only reason they would do it is just to tell everyone else that they know that they were there.

SBC trip is actually $105.  I lived in NYC for over 10 yrs...never went to see the ball drop... I think that its mostly a tourist thing.  Anywho, flsportsfan83, you'll be in the bus with me and a few of other members that post on here.  You'll have a good time!   ;D  Can't wait for Charlotte!

I went to Times Square in 1999, 2000, and 2001. It is something I recommend doing in your lifetime one day. Although, do expect to need to piss for 12 hours or you can improvise and piss in a bottle like I did.

Personally though, I would rather goto the Bulls 1ST BOWL GAME. What a great choice you made. You can tailgate with people that bleed green and gold and have the same love as you do... or you can goto Times Square, hook up with a random chick, and end up in her house in New Jersey the next morning knowing you brought in the New Year's right. Either way... it's a win-win situation.
