So I just took a closer look at the Bulls’ schedule and it seems like a bit of an over-reach to open the season. The first five are against ranked teams (#13 Maryland and #7 UF) then three at an FAU team that won 35 games last year and one at FSU. Northeastern for 3 and a single game against Pitt - then 3 on the west coast at Long Beach State. That has the makings of a really rough start. If they come out of that first month in decent shape, we may have something. Our lineup looks pretty good, but the pitching is completely unproven - especially the starters. Opener is Feb. 17.

They got things going good. Especially men’s hoops that will make a good addition to AAC next season

Thanks Dave for the nut punch.

Let’s put it this way, if they have a good start against that schedule, we should be in for one heck of a season. If they struggle early, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be a bad season as long as it doesn’t get in their heads.

We were largely unimpressive last year. We lost a ton of pitching from a team who's biggest problem was...pitching. I love Brutcher and I'm pumped for Snow. But, it is going to take a lot more than those two for this season to be above average.

Justin Sanchez is one to watch. Drafted in the 18th by Texas but didn't sign.

There’s no Justin Sanchez on the roster

Awesome... I was just thinking, "If only we could lose our best pitching prospect, that would definitely help."

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
