Bowl Games abound, but should we care?

Yes of course! With the resources now that USF has ( IPF, OCS on the horizon, location) we all such expect to start seeing USF become a player in the college football world.

I will still be excited and watch ( possibly attend depending on location) whatever bowl game we make; even if we are 5-7 and its against the number 6 in the Sunbelt. I expect to be in a  a bowl game two years from now.

The good news about ECU is that their QB Ehlers is finally out of eligibility lol.

It's stuff like this that makes me wonder if our conference isn't as bad as they say it is. Very similar to the "Big Least" days. 

Has me thinking that the lack of media respect makes us subconsciously downgrade our own conference and not appreciate our time in it while it lasts.

Yes I agree. I’m happy that they are beginning that 12 team playoff in 2024. That will give conferences like the AAC a better chance to make noise in the postseason that many pay attention to. Hopefully we see USF get to that point of contending for that playoff spot.

Think I have a theory regarding Temple. They are kind of like USF North. Both play in nice NFL stadiums that draw a few butts in the seats. No college feel to the Gamedays. So it is kind of like Misery loves company. When USF comes to their town they are happy because they usually beat us. When they come down to Tampa USF is happy As we usually beat them at home. Misery loves company. Hopefully that changes when USF gets their OCS and preaches to Temple to get their attention own OCS while we start beating them in the Eagles stadium
